1. Agreement and booking requests
By checking the agreement box and submitting a booking request, the customer confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms. A submitted request is not a confirmed appointment. P&P will confirm availability, scope, price, and any required deposit before service.
2. Services and scope
P&P provides residential cleaning, deep cleaning, move-in/move-out cleaning, Airbnb cleaning, commercial cleaning, and mobile notary services. Only the work listed in the confirmed quote, invoice, or written service description is included. Additional work, extra rooms, excessive buildup, hazardous conditions, or other changes may require revised pricing and customer approval.
3. Estimates, pricing, and payment
Displayed prices are starting prices unless expressly stated otherwise. Final cleaning pricing depends on the property, condition, size, scope, schedule, and access requirements. Commercial work may require a walkthrough. Traditional South Carolina notarial acts are charged at the disclosed notarial fee, and any separate travel, waiting, printing, parking, after-hours, witness, or other service fee will be disclosed and agreed to before service. Payment is due according to the confirmed quote or invoice.
Booking & Appointment Confirmation Policy
Submitting a booking request, selecting an available date or time, or approving an estimate does not constitute a confirmed appointment.
All booking requests are subject to review and acceptance by P&P Cleaning and Notary Services LLC. P&P may review service availability, service area, requested services, property details, scheduling, pricing, applicable agreements, and payment requirements before accepting an appointment.
For recurring cleaning, a 25% deposit is required for the first visit only. Later visits in the same recurring service at the same address require no deposit; the full balance is due upon completion of each cleaning. One-time bookings still require a 25% deposit unless P&P approves a written exception. All visits require P&P confirmation, and outstanding invoices must be paid before future bookings.
When a deposit is required, the appointment will remain Awaiting Deposit until payment has been successfully received. The appointment is not confirmed while it is Awaiting Deposit. Approved same-day requests may have a temporary payment hold until the displayed deadline.
For standard bookings, unless otherwise stated, deposits are due within 24 hours of approval. For same-day bookings, the required 25% deposit is due immediately within the displayed 30–60 minute hold window. Unpaid same-day requests return to Requested / Not Confirmed and the time is released. Late payments require owner review before confirmation. If payment is not received by the deadline, P&P may release the requested date and time and mark the booking Expired/Deposit Not Received. Availability is not guaranteed if the customer attempts to book again.
A declined, failed, returned, reversed, disputed, or otherwise unsuccessful payment does not satisfy the deposit requirement.
Once the required deposit has been successfully received and all other booking requirements have been satisfied, P&P will change the appointment to Confirmed and provide the customer with confirmation.
Customers should not consider an appointment confirmed until they receive an appointment confirmation from P&P.
Right to Review or Decline a Booking
P&P Cleaning and Notary Services LLC reserves the right to review and decline a booking request before confirmation.
Payment of a deposit does not require P&P to perform services that were accepted in error, are outside P&P’s approved service scope or service area, cannot reasonably be performed as requested, involve inaccurate or materially incomplete booking information, or present unsafe conditions.
If P&P declines an appointment before service begins for reasons not caused by the customer, any applicable deposit will be refunded or credited in accordance with the Service Agreement.
Remaining Balance
The 25% deposit will be credited toward the customer’s final service total.
Unless different payment terms have been approved in writing, the remaining balance is due upon completion of service.
Invoices should display the service subtotal, applicable discounts or promotional adjustments, total service price, deposit paid, and remaining balance.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
Cancellation or rescheduling of a confirmed appointment is subject to P&P’s Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy.
Deposits associated with a cancellation, rescheduling, lockout, or inability to access the service location will be handled according to the applicable policy and Service Agreement.
If P&P must cancel or reschedule an appointment for reasons not caused by the customer, the deposit may be transferred to the rescheduled appointment or refunded when appropriate under the Service Agreement.
Commercial Account Exception
P&P may approve alternative payment arrangements for commercial clients, including invoicing terms, recurring billing, purchase-order arrangements, Net-30 terms, or modified/waived deposit requirements.
Any exception must be approved by P&P. Unless an exception has been approved, the standard booking and deposit requirements apply.
Payment Reversals, Chargebacks & Disputes
Customers are responsible for payment for services authorized and performed by P&P Cleaning and Notary Services LLC. If a payment is disputed, reversed, returned, or charged back after services have been provided, the affected amount may be restored to the customer’s outstanding balance to the extent permitted by applicable law.
P&P reserves the right to provide the payment processor or financial institution with relevant records regarding the transaction and completed service, including the accepted Service Agreement, booking and invoice records, payment records, service documentation, communications, and other appropriate evidence.
If a payment reversal or chargeback results in an unpaid balance, P&P may suspend future services and decline new appointments until the account is resolved.
Any collection costs, returned-payment fees, chargeback fees, interest, or other amounts will only be assessed when expressly authorized by the customer’s agreement and permitted by applicable law.
5. Cancellations and schedule changes
The customer should provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. A $25 late-change fee may apply to changes made with less than 24 hours’ notice. P&P may waive the fee for emergencies or circumstances beyond the customer’s reasonable control.
6. Access and lockouts
The customer must provide safe, timely access to the service location and any necessary entry instructions. If P&P arrives at the confirmed time but cannot enter or begin work because access was not provided, a lockout fee equal to 50% of the confirmed service price may apply.
7. Customer responsibilities and safety
The customer must identify fragile, valuable, damaged, unsafe, or restricted items and disclose known hazards before service. Pets must be safely secured when necessary. P&P may refuse or stop work involving unsafe conditions, illegal activity, biohazards, weapons, uncontrolled animals, or conditions outside the agreed scope.
8. Cleaning results and service concerns
Customers should report a cleaning concern within 24 hours after service and provide reasonable details. When appropriate, P&P may return to address an eligible missed area. This service remedy does not cover new dirt, normal wear, permanent stains or damage, pre-existing conditions, or work outside the agreed scope.
9. Damage and pre-existing conditions
P&P will use reasonable care while performing services. The customer must disclose delicate surfaces and manufacturer-specific care requirements. Claims for alleged damage should be reported promptly with supporting information. P&P is not responsible for ordinary wear, hidden defects, unstable fixtures, improperly installed items, or pre-existing damage.
10. Mobile notary terms
The signer must present acceptable identification, appear willingly, and be able to communicate and demonstrate awareness of the transaction. P&P does not provide legal advice, choose notarial certificates, prepare legal documents, or guarantee that a document will be accepted. A notarization may be refused when legal requirements are not met.
11. Recurring services
Recurring dates remain subject to confirmation and may be adjusted by mutual agreement. Frequency discounts, when offered, apply only while the recurring schedule remains active and may be revised if the scope, condition, frequency, or access requirements change.
12. Communications and electronic records
The customer authorizes service-related communications by email, phone, or text using the contact information provided. Electronic acceptance, booking records, confirmations, and invoices may be retained as business records. Service-related consent does not include marketing messages or permission to photograph or publish the customer, property, documents, or belongings.
13. Privacy
P&P will use customer information to provide, schedule, manage, bill for, and communicate about requested services, and to maintain appropriate business records. Customer information will not be sold. Notary documents and identification should be handled only as needed for the requested notarial service and applicable recordkeeping duties.
14. Limitation and applicable law
To the extent permitted by law, any liability arising from a service is limited to the amount paid for the service giving rise to the claim, except where a different result is required by law. These terms are governed by South Carolina law. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
15. Entire agreement and changes
These terms, together with the confirmed quote, invoice, and written service details, form the agreement for the requested service. If terms conflict, the more specific written quote or invoice controls for that service. P&P may issue a new version for future bookings; the version accepted at submission is saved with the booking record.
